As a mark of respect for the older generation, who often need a lot of handy help, I offer a discount for OAPs (older awesome people). As I've been establishing my business, I've been charging a special introductory rate for my services. Prices will be increasing soon to reflect the standard market rate.

I know that unexpected things crop up and sometimes you need to cancel an appointment. But as a small business, when a customer cancels, I lose what they would have paid for my services. To give me the best chance of filling that time slot with another customer, I appreciate 48 hours notice of cancellation.

Unfortunately, yes, there will be a fee of 1/2 of the total cost for the service(s) scheduled. I'm sure you understand that, as a small business, late cancelled appointments mean a loss of earnings. Too many of those and there will be no Handy Helpers left to help and I'll have to go back to being a legal eagle!

Whatever's best for you. I can bring my own cleaning materials or you can provide them for me. I know that some people have specific products they like used in their home and that's fine. But if you don't want the hassle of remembering whether you have everything you need in time for your appointment, I can bring products with me. I use environmentally friendly products only, because we only get one planet.
